Earth Arc's own, Lightning of East Tickle
Lightning was caught in a barn fire when he was younger and now has a cough because of it, but with some wet hay and positive energy, it doesn't bother him as much as it used to. He is 9 years old and is a stallion with possible breeding in the future. |
A wonderful lady from New Hampshire, who owns a sanctuary heard about a herd of Newfoundland ponies in need and stepped up to help. She, along with the Newfoundland Pony Society, organized trailering from Vancouver Island, BC all the way to different parts of Nova Scotia for a respite, then eventually to Newfoundland! We are housing some of the stallions here at Eartharc. We are very grateful for every single person who was involved in this event, and the owner is very thankful that his ponies are safe and sound. Maud Peters, a wonderful lady was able to take all the mares in the herd to a place just down the road from hers.
